Wintermoon Bliss: Our Romantic Utah Honeymoon Getaway
As the wintermoon cast its enchanting glow upon Utah, we embarked on an extended honeymoon filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Our journey began with a dreamy flight to Salt Lake City on Delta Airlines, where we made the most of our Marriott Bonvoy credit card by securing three free nights at the Le Meridien in downtown Salt Lake City.
Day 1:
Our first evening was wrapped in the warmth of holiday spirit, as Flankers Kitchen and Sports Bar welcomed us with delightful appetizers, scrumptious drinks, and non-alcoholic options amidst festive Christmas decorations.
Day 2:
Our day commenced with a cozy breakfast at The Peoples Coffee before venturing to Coalville. At Stillman's Ranch, we embraced the thrill of snowmobiling amidst the breathtaking mountains. The adrenaline rush left us famished, and we savored a quick, mouthwatering bite at Pretty Bird Hot Chicken.
Returning to Le Meridien, we ascended to the rooftop, toasting to our adventures with drinks and breathtaking views.
Day 3:
Our hearts led us to the Snowpine Lodge Alta Resort, where we indulged in pure relaxation and romance. We treated ourselves to a spa day, accompanied by the majestic views and amenities the lodge had to offer.
The private jacuzzi, set against a stunning backdrop, rekindled our connection, while the eucalyptus spray in the shower made it a heavenly experience. The day spa pass was an excellent choice!
As evening descended, we dined at Snowpine Lodge Alta Resort's "Swen's" Restaurant, where the chef's specials mesmerized our taste buds. The mussel appetizer was a delightful surprise, and the main courses, from the potato-crusted salmon to the Niman Ranch NY Strip, were divine.
Sharing asparagus and mashed potatoes, we savored every moment and morsel, concluding our honeymoon on a perfect note. The caring staff at "Swen's" Restaurant made it an unforgettable couples' getaway.
